Japanese Taiko performance

28 Year 8 students and Years 9 and 10 Elective Japanese classes were recently involved in a Japanese Taiko (Drum) Performance by YuNiOn. 

During the performance students learnt about the history and tradition of Japanese taiko drums, listened to traditional Japanese and modern taiko music and got to try their own skills at drumming.  Students eagerly volunteered to have a go and had a great time judging by their smiling faces.
