As part of the process of investigating a need and developing a project for her HSC Design and Technology major project, Koko Kawaura came up with a range of ambitious ideas.
Her interest in the environment and the endangered species provided the inspiration and also highlighted numerous problems that needed to be solved.

HEADSTART is a competition typically entered by University students that "encourages young Australians to transform their ideas into a $15,000 reality."
Koko's entry went through to the semi-finals as one of the judges choices. From there she submitted a video to pitch her idea and was once again selected by the judges to present 
as a finalist. As one of the runners-up she won $1000. Congratulations Koko!
