Terms 1 and 2 have been busy and productive for Duke of Edinburgh students.
Bronze students completed their Practice Hike at Camp Somerset near the Colo River in March and April, while Silver students travelled by ferry to Broken Bay in May to complete a three day Pack and Paddle with the Department of Sport and Recreation.
In the April school holidays an enthusiastic team of Gold students participated in their practise Gold Hike in the Bungonia State Conservation Area. It was a beautiful, challenging and rewarding experience for students from across the NBSC campuses and the first time we hiked into this picturesque part of NSW.
