CHS Regatta

The annual CHS regatta was held in the April school holidays at Belmont 16ft Sailing Club on Lake Macquarie.

This year saw 108 entries from a range of classes. Competition involved two races a day with an Invitation Race on the first day. The team from Manly Selective Campus achieved 2^nd place in the Teams division and performed well individually.

Kashi Saunders (year 9) came 2^nd in the Manly Graduate class, Romy Saunders (year 11) came 4^th in the Laser 4.7 class, Margot Mason (year 12) and Louis Festa (year 10) teamed up in a Hobie 16 and came 5^th in class. Zoe Dransfield (year 8) and crew came 4^th in the Flying 11 class, won the Division and came 11^th overall.  Jesse Dransfield (year 10) and crew came 3^rd in the 29er, 2^nd in their Division and 17^th overall. Camping at the Pines was also extremely enjoyable, interacting with other high school students from across the state.
