Thank you to the amazingly generous individuals who have contributed to our stationery drive!
As you can see, we have collected an awesome array of things to send to the Centre for Hope in the Philippines to be used by girls who have escaped human trafficking as they receive education and skills training.
A cake stall was held to help cover some of the cost of postage and we raised an incredible $850, but if any parents work for a company or organisation that could help us post our box of goods overseas, we would be very appreciative! Perhaps a parent who works for a company that regularly posts goods overseas, someone with contacts in the Philippines, or a local business interested in community outreach?
Please contact Kate Munro in the English Staffroom if you think you can help in this regard. If there are any leftover funds from the cake stall, we plan to send them to the Centre for Hope so that the volunteers can purchase English to Tagalog dictionaries for the girls to use in their studies.
