Amazing band tour of Italy and Austria

54 students, 700 kg of band equipment and 3 suitcases with 48 full music scores are heading towards the end of a spectacular 16 day band tour of Italy and Austria.

The bands have played in beautiful concert venues like the Chiesa di Santo Stefano al Ponte in Florence and the spectacular Schoenbrunn (Summer Palace) in Vienna. They have had master classes with renowned jazz and classical musicians, visited  jazz clubs, performed in school concert exchanges, and by all accounts are having a generally fabulous time.

So far the highlight of their tour has been performing at the Orangerie Schoenbrunn on the eve of the 100^th Anniversary of ANZAC Day with special guest Mr David Stuart, Australian Ambassador to Austria.
