Wraps for Love

What a fantastic response!  42 Wraps for Love have been created in a myriad colours  to be sent out across the world.

Who was involved? 

• Students who knitted the squares were from Year 7 to Year 12, with the majority in Year 10;
• Year 10 students who cooked and ran the cake stall; 
• Year 12 SRC who ran the Auction l and those who won and paid for the Wraps; 
• Parents and Staff who volunteered to sew & crochet the Wraps together.
• A local Senior Citizen group also began knitting and crocheting squares as an activity and ended up completing 10 wraps.

The 42 Wraps with Love have been collected and sent to the foundation in Alexandria, NSW. From there over twenty agencies collect Wraps to distribute them to those in greatest need. This year up to April over 3200 had been sent to the Phillipines, Fiji (after the Tsunami) and many other destinations.
