A dozen year 7 boys recently undertook two marathons: one to get to the venue, and then a day of mental challenge.
Held at East Hills Technology High School, Panania, the boys unravelled the mysteries of public transport to become two of over 30 teams of boys from Years 7 and 8 undertaking the annual Mind Marathon. Over the thee days of competition more than 50 schools took part.
One student commented: "The best thing was the challenging and competitive environment while still being fun." According to another, "The train was a relaxing way to travel and I got to test run my Opal card!".
